Policing Commissioners attend EUROMED Police Project at Europol

Law enforcement representatives from EU Member States and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region met at Europol Headquarters today for the 3rd Strategic Cooperation Forum of the EUROMED Police Project.

The EUROMED Police project, implemented by the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL), in partnership with Europol, aims to reinforce institutional capacity to fight transnational and organised crime in the Southern Neighbourhood of the European Union.

The Strategic Cooperation Forum provided a platform for law enforcement representatives from the Southern Partners Countries and EU Member States to engage in discussions on common challenges and solutions, cooperation possibilities, tools and methods to fight organised crime.
