Garda commemoration takes place today

A very special and poignant day in An Garda Síochána’s calendar takes place today. A commemoration ceremony to mark the memory of gardaí killed in the line of duty.

The commemoration takes place at Dublin Castle at 12 noon today.

Minister for Justice and Equality Charlie Flanagan T.D. and Garda Commissioner Drew Harris will be in attendance at the short ceremony which will also see a very limited numbers of guests attend, in line with current government guidelines on COVID-19.
