Busy week for Kildare Community Gardaí

The Community Policing Unit at Kildare Garda Division continues to provide support to the community.

Community gardaí from Athy, Kildare Town, Leixlip, Maynooth and Naas were busy assisting the vulnerable people and ‘cocooners’ in the community.

Gardaí delivered shopping, meals and also helped to brighten up some gardens.

In Clane, a special visit and a ‘Blue Light Drive-By’ was also organised by local garda Shane Smyth. The drive-by was also supported by the local authority fire brigade, Irish Red Cross and other voluntary services.
