35th Air Corps Cadets commissioned in Baldonnel

The Commissioning Ceremony of new officers of the 35th Air Corps Cadet Class took place Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel today.

The occasion marks a very important and proud day for the members of the 35th Air Corps Cadet Class. It represents the successful completion of over three years of intensive military and flying training. During the ceremony, the Cadets will be awarded their Military Pilots Wings and Presidential Commissions.

Minister with Responsibility for Defence, Mr Paul Kehoe T.D, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces, Vice Admiral Mark Mellet DSM attended the ceremony.

A short flying display by their Air Corps colleagues took place following the Commissioning Ceremony.
